With orgins back to 1935, the modern Descente was born in 1961 with a mission to create leading edge apparel for athletes. They have had many, many successes over the years but none more memorable perhaps than the 1979 downhill suit breakthrough where every downhill ski competitor was trying to get their hands on the wonder suit that shaved seconds off of world class times.
